After a week on Cortex, I decided to give Alpha Brain a try.

The last day on Cortex I wasn’t really getting the effects anymore. So bearing that in mind… When I tried Alpha Brain my cognitive function suffered. I really don’t think it was the Alpha Brain. I think there was an external factor that had already started bringing me down at the end of my trial of Cortex.

My guess at this point is something related to histamine or methylation because I changed some things in that area and it improved pretty quickly. I also switched back to Cortex.

I know. Not super scientific to switch back and forth, but hey… I have stuff to get done and Cortex was really helping with that. And on top of that, given these last few days I have to guess that it may be both Cortex and this currently unknown third factor. Who knows, maybe it’s mostly the unknown factor?

We will see. I’m experimenting with Inositol and TMG (seemingly successfully) to help with suspected histamine/methylation issues.

Back to Cortex, my productivity is through the roof compared to my normal level. I think this might be what most people accomplish on a daily basis. But for me it’s a lot more than the average day.

I’ll keep experimenting to see if I can elucidate how much is actually Cortex.

Side note: Cortex is expensive! The bottle comes with 30 caps but the dose is 2/day! So it’s almost $80/month. But, if it triples your productivity like it has for me then it’s probably worth it. I’m reordering now.
